Welcome back to another exciting school year at Mayo Elementary School! I hope your summer was restful and filled with meaningful moments with your loved ones. As we step into a new academic year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the progress we've made and share our collective successes.

Thanks to the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the unwavering support from you—our families—we are proud to announce that Mayo Elementary has shown notable improvement in both English Language Arts (ELA) and Math on this year's state assessments. This growth is a direct result of the strong partnership between home and school. Your involvement, encouragement, and commitment to your child’s learning journey have made all the difference.

As we look ahead, I want to emphasize one key factor that continues to shape student success: consistent attendance. Every day of learning counts. When students are present, they are more likely to stay on track academically, socially, and emotionally.
